Becoming a conscious, eco-friendly human
“We don’t want these things done by 2050, 2030 or even 2021, we want this done now – as in right now.” - Greta Thunberg
Science was always my favorite subject growing up. From age 5 - 10, I wanted to be a veterinarian. From 10 - 13, I wanted to be a doctor. I realized as the years passed by, writing was my strong suit, so I graduated with a degree in journalism.
I've always struggled to find a personal project that I could stick to. I become so passionate about various subjects, think "this is it" and it ends up falling under the cracks as the real-world slips in to coat it. One thing I've always had a strong opinion of is the way climate change is affecting our current and future world.
I chose to start this blog to help others understand how real this threat is and how small changes now can make impacts later. I chose to start this blog so that I could continue to gain perspective on how I can be more conscious, more of an activist and most importantly - it's a tool for growth. In the wise young words of Greta Thunberg - "We want this done now."
