My "First Day Back" Thrifting Haul

Last week, I made my first venture to a thrift store since COVID started. While a few local thrifts have opened up near me, I stuck with Buffalo Exchange because I saw their COVID policies online and that they all require masks when in-store. This assured me that I would have a safe experience. I also made a commitment to myself that during Slow Fashion Season, that the only clothes I would purchase are either secondhand, thrifted or made from sustainable sources.
I was in the store for well over 30 minutes and found some incredible deals of 50% off or more. I didn't exactly have a goal of what I was hoping to buy (I know, not very sustainable...) but I ended up getting pieces that I either needed or just really fell in love with. I even grabbed a few items, thought about whether I needed them or would wear them more than once and put quite a few back. It was almost like the Marie Kondo way of "Does this bring me joy?"Overall, I only ended up getting a few things that I've been wearing nonstop this past week.
Here are the five items I ended up purchasing. One day soon, I would love to go to a place like Goodwill to find some other items but will wait until it's safe to do so!
Have you gone thrifting since quarantine?

Velvet multi-colored bodycon - Probably my favorite item I purchased
I've already worn this several times this week and in one of my posts on @_ConsciouslyEco. It was something I wasn't necessarily looking for but thought I'd give it a try. For $6, it was a steal!

A white ribbed tank and high waisted shorts - Both were 50% off
I am pretty limited on my short choices in my closet so when I saw these were only $10 and the perfect size for me, I had to snag them. The white ribbed tank is perfect for just a minimal outfit however, the neckline does bow out a bit which is annoying but for $3 and a little scissor work, I'm sure I can transform it.
A simple silk and lace black cami - Another one of my favorites
This one I could not for the life of my understand why someone would give up. It was brand new, still had the tags and it has a great fit and feel. I've been tucking it into my jeans or shorts but it's short enough to not tuck as well.

An off white/grayish short sleeve button up and a denim skirt - Also both 50% off
One thing I was looking for when I went thrifting was a white button down and was hoping for a long sleeve but came across this one instead. It's a large and not exactly what I was looking for, but think it will come in handy in the future. It's also made of recycled cotton so there's a plus! The denim skirt was about $5 and is just a good addition to my closet since I also don't have too many skirts.
